Carmichael Classical Christian School
Faculty and Staff
Rebekah Drahosh
Head of School, Grammar School Teacher
Rebekah currently lives in Jamestown, ND with her husband, Caleb, and six children. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Minor in Classics, and from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. One of her favorite book series is "The Space Trilogy" by C.S. Lewis. She loves how classical Christian education consistently focuses on the beauty of God’s created world, encouraging the learner to marvel and worship the Creator.
Brianna Taylor
Curriculum Director, Grammar School Teacher
Brianna is a native Jamestownian, born and raised from preschool through college. She graduated from the University of Jamestown with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and currently serves as a Grammar School Teacher and Curriculum Director at CCCS. She loves the richness of a classical Christian education: how it recognizes the world and the fullness thereof as belonging to God, and humanity as His invited agents and ambassadors within it. What a joy! It is deeply rooted in all things foundational to Western civilization, and she finds it fascinating to dig deeper into those things. Where we’ve come from shapes where we’re going, and a wisely executed understanding of the good, the true, and the beautiful is what magnificent cultures are built upon. Brianna loves reading! Books, magazines, poems (that rhyme), obituaries, short stories, cookbooks, history, science, the Bible, you name it! She loves many books so it is nearly impossible to choose a favorite. She hopes to read more of the Great Books as time goes on, but for now, some notable mentions of books that have impacted her throughout her life are 'Number the Stars,' 'Anne of Green Gables,' 'A Christmas Carol,' 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' 'Frankenstein,' 'Gentle and Lowly,' and, more recently, an absolutely delightful short story called “The Ransom of Red Chief.” She also enjoys the idyllic poetry of Edgar Guest, of which her favorite is entitled “Picture Books.”
Vicky Enger
Dean of Students, Grammar School Teacher
Vicky earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of North Dakota. After working for a public accounting firm for three years, she left the workforce to be a stay-at-home mom. She has been involved with various ministry roles over the past 15 years, and discovered her love of learning and teaching. She began homeschooling in 2020 and made a curriculum change in 2023 to provide her children with a classical Christian education. The change brought a depth and a richness to their children's lives and academics that is hard to put into words. Vicky is married to her husband Josh and they have three children. Vicky and her family enjoy living in the rural Jamestown area and attend North Marion Reformed Church. One way they enjoy spending time together is reading aloud as a family. Some of their favorite series are The "Wingfeather Saga," "The Green Ember," "Viking Quest," & "The Chronicles of Narnia."
Samantha Culliton
Financial Director, Grammar School Classroom Aid
Originally from Raleigh, ND, Samantha moved to Jamestown to attend the University of Jamestown where she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She has lived in Jamestown for 18 years and has been classically homeschooling her five children for the past five years. As CCCS opens, she will be working as the Director of Finance and Development and as an aid in the classrooms. One of her favorite books is 'The Great Passion' by James Runcie. It is an imaginative story of what it would have been like to walk alongside J.S. Bach through his life and as he wrote St. Matthew's Passion, detailing both his hardships and brilliance. Something she loves about classical education is how it incorporates learning about men and women who set a high standard of excellence in their areas of expertise (music, invention, art, writing, etc.) and in so doing, encourages students to learn and challenge themselves to achieve excellence.
John Baumgartner
Upper School Teacher
John, originally from Litchville, ND, teaches Upper School Math and Science at CCCS. He holds a dual B.A. in Philosophy and Bible from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. He enjoys reading the works of G.K. Chesterton, especially The 'Everlasting Man' and 'Father Brown.' He loves how classical Christian education sees all subjects connected back to Christ as the "Arche" of all things.
Policy Board
Bryan Miller
Bryan lives in Jamestown, ND with his wife Lori and their three children. He currently works at the Jamestown Adult Learning Center and has worked in adult education for over 15 years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Broad-Base Social Science & History in Secondary Education with a Minor in Coaching. His favorite book is 'A Time to Kill.' His top three favorite things about Classical Christian Education are it represents a different approach to teaching & learning, it helps students learn to argue effectively and appropriately, and through it students are taught within a Biblical worldview.
Damon Bosche
Damon lives in Medina, ND. He serves as the Superintendent and Athletic Director for Medina Public Schools. He graduated from Valley City State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in Physical Education, and has a Master in Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University. 'Robinson Crusoe' by Daniel Defoe is his favorite book. He appreciates that Classical Christian Education encourages a lifelong love of learning while keeping Scripture and a Biblical worldview at the center. It helps students learn not only what is true, but also how to think about the world through the lens of God's truth.
